I created this scene for Algodoo users who need a flashing circle in their scene, but who do not know how to write Thyme script. You can cut and paste the circle from this scene into your own scene after you've made all the settings for color, flash rate, and even the type of flash (hard and soft). The hard flash blinks two colors on and off with a quick transition between colors. The soft flash slowly changes from one color to the other. You can select colors from a series of predefined colors, or you can create your own custom colors.
The finished circle uses no "scene.my" variables, and so it will work in any scene without any additional scripting.
You cut and paste the circle just like text. That is, after you've finished setting up and testing your flashing circle, select it with your mouse cursor, and then press Ctrl-C (copy). Load your scene that you want to put the circle in, and press Ctrl-V (Paste). At that point you can move the circle and resize it to fit your scene. Make as many as you need!
EDIT: 1. Fixed bug in "A" slider. 2. Added text explaining how to copy and paste the circle (My thanks to s_noonan for bringing these two issues to my attention). |
