Just something I threw together in a half hour. Hold S until yellowish-orange balls spawn. It's no speed demon, tops out at barely more that 20 rad/s :lol:

Yeah, I know it's out of scale and runs at 400hz. It's purely for looks, and has no real purpose. The tracer is to show the crank path!

For those of you who haven't heard of the Atkinson engine (about 99% of the general populus :lol: ) here's a good page that explains it!

I've heard of the Atkinson engine because of Algodoo! There are about 5 or 6 previous scenes, and one or more were done way back in 2009! It's mechanically very interesting, but not very practical. That's why you don't see Atkinson cycle engines in every car, bus, and truck on the highways.

Nice job on the scene, especially since you threw it together in a half hour. :tup:
