This is a 1:1 scale version of a Colt M4 carbine, and functions at the real cyclic rate. It's scripted, so there's really no lag or potential to jam. It's very addicting to play with, if you ask me, so I do hope you enjoy.
To use: insert one of the magazines provided, and release the bolt carrier by either pushing the bolt catch down (above mag release) or pulling the charging handle back all the way and releasing it. using the drag tool, select your firing mode, and fire with the drag tool or enter/return. The weapon's got a simulated burst cam that doesn't auto-reset, so you can have an initial burst length of 1-3 rounds, depending on its position when you switch to burst. stopping firing mid-burst also means the next firing will complete the burst. It's finicky, but that's how the real thing is. Also occasionally prone to drifting, like the real thing. if it does, unload the gun, switch to burst, hold enter/return, and cycle the action 3 times. reload any live rounds into the magazine, and re-insert the mag in, chamber a round, and continue firing.
EDITS:
Added a virtual hammer script that determines what the position of the hammer would be, and the virtual burst cam is now operated by this. Eliminates the tendency for the burst cam to neglect "stepping up" if the trigger is released early.
