The second equation is not written correctly because it is missing a multiplication operator. 6÷2(2+1) should be written: 6÷2*(2+1)

Also, your answer is wrong because according to PEMDAS, you should do the multiplication "2*(2+1) = 6" before you do the division. Then when you do the division: "6÷6" the answer is ONE (not 9)!

The first one is bigg maybe 910? Because i know that first goes * then / then + and- but what about this ''^'' times thing. I don't remember is it goes first or second after * .
The second must be 9
The last one must be 65

The parantheses are telling us to multiply, so no multiplication operator is needed.

= 6÷2*3 - now multiplication and division starting from the left
= 3*3
= 9

Well, it's been a very long time since I was in school!

My logic (right or wrong) is that, according to the order of operations, you are supposed to do the multiplication BEFORE you do the division: MDAS. So, for 6÷2*3, my assumption is you would first calculate the multiplication (2*3) which is 6, and then you would do the division, which would be 6÷6. What is wrong with that logic?

order of operations

1. parantheses
2. exponents and roots
3. multiplication and division from left to right
4. addition and subtraction from left to right

your logic was used until the end of the nineties

Xray MD and AS are supposed to be from left to right
so if it was 10/2*3 you do 10/2=5 and then multiplication: 5*3=15
same for AS 56-8+2=56-8=48+2=50 hope this is better understanding

vaidas exponents (E) is the ^ so 2^2=2*2=4
4^7=4*4*4*4*4*4*4=16384

I just cant count it correctly if i have no clue if the ''^'' is higher by the order of moves.
If ''^'' is higher then:
(4-2)^2*8/4+1 goes like this
4-2 = 2
2^2*8/4+1 now in the priority order can be and''^'' and *. But lets say its ^
2^2 = 2*2*2 = 4*2 = 8
8*8 = 64
64/4 = 16
16 + 1 = 17

its X^2 = X*X X^5= X*X*X*X*X
X^2= 2 X's multiplied
X^5= 5 X's multiplied
so its:
(4-2)^2*8/4+1
=(2)^2*8/4+1
=4*8/4+1 Mult Div left to right
=8+1
=9

Xray, in pemdas, If there is multiplication and division, you move left to right!
