So, who did you copy the chain from? Did you ask him permission if you could copy and upload his chain? The reason I ask is because many new users like yourself, don't realize that some people get very upset when you copy their work and then upload it as if you were the person who made it. That can sometimes cause flame wars and threats, and that's when I have to step in.

Thanks,

Xray, Algodoo Admin
It's OK Xray. He used my Sprocket and Chain Generator, as I had suggested in his previous scene.

Yet I think saying "used *some guys* chain" is quite... degrading. As if you just were some guy, nothing special worth mentioning or something. I personally think if someone uses something from me, he should ask for permission, and only if I agree, he can use it, and even then he HAS to mention that he gives credit to me in his scene.
Hey, did you know:

Your little "weight" actually slows the whole thing DOWN.
I tested your other scenes and everytime I remove it it goes "faster"
Thanks s_noonan.

And FRA32, you are correct about the scene title being degrading. A better thing to say would be something like, "Credit and my thanks go to s_noonan for his chain and sprockets." in the scene description. Hopefully, this has been a learning experience for isodecryptor. :)
Well I sure would have used his name if I could remember which one it was when I went to upload it. I dont usually use peoples stuff but he mentioned it in my post when I was talking about problems the way the chain functions. It really was not something I necessarily needed to make my device work. I had his permission, As seen in the comments above. It is S_noonan, which he gives partial credit to another person in his description. Imagine if I was uncertain who created the idea and was unsure who to give credit to without doing some serious research and finding out who the original creator and most major contributor was? You could only imagine I had no intention on being degrading or rude. And because we are giving screen names, its not like I could actually credit a known name, individual, anyways. But I do appreciate you trying to keep my morals in check. I will take note of that the next time something like this occurs:)
FRA32, I use the weight to increase the potential energy that the system would "theoretically and even against all logic known to man" increase the total sum of the energy in the system. It is an absolute long shot and even unfavorable to all understood physics but that why I consider it a theory and something I have tampered with for a while now. It is because of the way it looked to me, mathematically. Which could very well be just simple errors but the software has also given me a slight stroke of ego on the concept. Thanks for pointing that out.
I am actually in the process of building a tiny model of this and the only thing that is holding me up is making a homemade, ladder chain. I could even send you the link of the silly start of this whole theory and why I insist there is some way to "get something more" out of this gravity system. Its all just a fun theory to me and does not hurt anyone. It allows me to be in fantasy land that god is forgiving and there are forces that can be used to gain net energies, without poisoning everything on our plant. It is strictly fantasy land.
isodecryptor - Thanks for your replies to our comments. You write like you are mature and well educated, and we "older" users appreciate that. Unfortunately, many new users here on Algobox are in the 6 to 11 year old category and their scenes are quite childish which do not fit in very well with the older, more mature users. I hope that you will stick around and join us in making awesome scenes that the older crowd appreciate.
