Wow! Excellent tutorial! :tup:

Just a couple minor typos: 1. In the text on Subtraction, it reads, "Since subtraction is the opposite of addition, we also to the opposite." I'm sure you meant, "...we also do the opposite". 2. Then in the text on Roots, I recall that there was an odd sentence where you repeated some words.

Suggestion for this or some future scene: Show some real world examples of how complex numbers are used.

Thanks, FRA32! I'm so glad that we have a good mathematician on board here! :)
Good work. Nice Coding. :tup: :tup:

FRA32, tu ne seras pas français par hasard, comme moi? Excellente scène!
:tup:
I like it! So many things to learn from it, besides the math,
just look into the script of the blue box, its so amazing!!
app.Grid.numAxes = 8;
app.Grid.scale = 100;
have never seen before and is so usefull, tested other
Grid.scales like app.Grid.scale = 1; too, and

to make a smooth disappearance in poststep
app.Grid.opacity = app.Grid.opacity - (app.Grid.opacity - _blendgrid) / 15.0
is used, app.background.skycolor also... its fascinating!
didnt know so much changeable variables exist in a scene.

Is there a list of commands in the forum about the
app.thisandthat ? I would like to see them all;) and will research
the other programming-tools and -tricks you used in this scene, soon.

Thanks a lot!! Very good and teaches well! _o_ :tup: :tup: :tup: _o_
Thyme command list

That is the initial list published in 2009, but there have been more discovered, especially by kilinich. Look through his many posts in the forum (under the heading: Thyme Scripting) and you will find more interesting Thyme commands!

Please... No... Don't remind me of my A levels... XD

Fantastic scene though:tup:
@DrBalk
I'm glad you like the scene and the work I put in it. In fact, the primary way of learning thyme in algobox is via other thyme scenes, at least for me. I hope you will like my next scene once I have the time to make it;)

Kinda busy at the moment, so the next scene will take a while again.
DrBalk, you can also search for those in the console. just press F10 and write "/app." without inverted commas

/ serves as a search function
my brain exploded...
The Linkage -- inverted commas?:s They are quotation marks (or "quotes" which is the shortened name).

Ken3344 -- I hope you didn't spray any brain cells on your keyboard or monitor! :lol:

Xray, spanish, sorry :lol:
We call them "comillas" and i heard somewhere that they could be called inverted commas in english
No problem, The Linkage! I've been around for a long time (because I'm older than most people here on Algobox), and I have never heard them called "inverted commas". They do not look anything like a comma, and their function is totally different. But it really doesn't matter what they are called as long as they are used properly! :)

Gracias
