Hello!
First of all - sortry for double upload, but saving caused some chaos in the scene - this one is partially fixed - suspension is damadged, but working... Most important - 5th wheel and kingpins are aligned again!
This time I got for you iconic, American Big Rig - Peterbilt!
It`s big, it`s heavy, it has tonnes of chrome and polished aluminium - Typical "traditional" design Class 8 truck ready for long hauls
OK, back then to reality:
-Yes, it can tow a trailer
You choose which one (pressing from 1 to 5 will drop you your trailer)
-It HAS PSEUDOGEARBOX - It doesn`t have any "real" gears, but power output varies depending on speed - 1st gear is 3250 "power" per wheel, 2nd gear is 1850, 3rd is 850, 4th is just 350. It means that truck can lose traction at low speed, but it will barely accelerate when going fast.
-It has REALISTIC suspension! Took me a while to make it, even it`s hidden behind wheels. Leaf springs + airbags. Suspension is unaffected by engine/braking torque (truck will not "dance" when pressed back and forward repetadley)
-Suspension is semi independent - There is a rod connecting both axles which moves leaf springs mounts to increase maximum possible diffrence in wheel position between axles)
-Truck has two powered axles, brakes on all axles including trailer. Trailer has handbrake released when raising a "leg"
-You have FOUR trailers to choose - red one is "empty", purble one is loaded, black one is overloaded. There is also a flatbed and place for your own, 5-th trailer
CONTROLS:
-ARROWS - Drive
-Z - engage - disengage "5th wheel" - that device which catches trailer kingpin
-X - parking/releasing trailer. Trailer handbrake plus "leg" or how it`s called...
1, 2, 3, 4, 5 - release trailers - PLEASE RELEASY ONLY ONE! Since PHUN is 2D you won`t be able to go "around" released trailer.
