Extremely simple and animated. You only have to change the pos values on the _positions array. You can also add more slides, since it uses string.length for operation

v2: Added zoom restraint and instructions for practically everything

Nice idea, but you can get the same results without using the axle and the extra circle. In fact, it will be "snappier"! What I did was to delete the axle and the extra circle under the first frame, and used only the circle that contains the Thyme code. Then enable "Follow" for that circle. That's it! Try it and see if you like it. :)
Yes. Good idea. I updated (2) of my tutorial scenes by using your idea with modified code so they will work with the mouse or arrow keys.
Actually Xray, the thing I don't like about that method is that it just jumps to the next slide. I wanted an animated, smoother feel to it, like I did with the balance tutorial, but that one was overcomplicated
Well then, here's another idea: Give people the option whether they prefer a smooth glide between scenes or a quick jump! Make it configurable. Depending on the type of scene, I could see where either one might be prefered.

The Linkage,

Regarding "animated, smoother feel", I had totally missed the point, but now that I see it, I like it. Not that it matters much, but I suggest gluing the base circle to the background, turning off gravity, and letting users know they can adjust the hinge constant to vary the response time.
Xray and s_noonan: I implemented all of your suggestions except for the gravity thing. It is not really needed as I couldn't restrain pan without having to use 2 entityByGeomIDs on the axle, something that I hate because of the massive lag it produces. So you can pan, and the person that makes the tutorial will be able to turn off gravity if he wants to anyways
Very well done! I like it very much.
Nice demo
