Suggestion: Provide a key that will erase the entire pattern and start a new one.

Also, allow user to adjust the size of the pen.

There already is key that will erase the entire pattern and start a new one. It's called the Undo button.

P.S. Changed my thinking. If an erase button saves one click and there are thousands of uploads and each person draws multiple snowflakes, then an erase button could save thousands of touches, key-presses, or mouse clicks.

2 Xray, ok, i'll add size but instead of clean i think it's possible to remove last step. Undo clears all traces, it's tricky...

s_noonan - Good points. I just happen to prefer elegance in design. In my opinion, a dedicated button to clear the screen is more elegant than using the Undo button. And when you design a dedicated button, you (the scene creator) have control over how it functions.
