E-10 was the representative tanks of the new concept, the design of which was designed to maximally standardize the production. E-10 was considered as a test platform for a whole generation of tanks with index E, especially in terms of engine and drivetrain components and chassis.

He was supposed to be a light crazy fighter tanks and a reconnaissance vehicle designed by the company "Klockner - Humboldt-Deutz" from the city of Ulm.
