-I'd like to point out that i feel like the whole protagonist for being a main part of this, i'd like to thank you first off for randomly becoming a major part of this!
1-And as odd as it sounds, i have no other idea on what it was glued to, none other than the knife. (But i don't understand how it could break off from the pickaxe-- so this is probably wrong)

OKAY I CHANGE MY ANSWER TO #1- I feel like the pickaxe was glued to the ladder to provide a block to the exit, so the victim couldn't escape. therefore causing her being unable to escape.

Rawas, the killer, put the pickxe under that hole you see under a door, and killed her.
Rawas was helping with the snacks.

Rawers was helping with snacks.After he is done,he brings his knife into the gym.He saw the glue so he glued the exit,making Maya trapped there.He even threw his knife into Maya,killing her.

I dont know his name, but I think the guy who was acting nervous in part 2 is the killer. Unless the killer is a really good actor

You know what? I think Maya went somewhere she wasnt supposed to go and the host killed her
