From what I know, this is the only functional Camera in algodoo! It doesn't have a great resolution, but it works! The pink block above appears green on the camera because it acts as a mirror. Because of the way the script works, I added a blinker that rotates around the camera to refresh each pixel. This will be later mounted on a super epic [TOP SECRET]

Pretty cool! But I think it needs a bit more resolution to be useful (like about 3 orders of magnitude more resolution). Yes, there are other functional cameras on Algobox, but I'm not sure if they are the kind that you are referring to. Do a search on the word "camera" to find out if there are others.

Nice job, so far. I'm looking forward to your super epic "top secret" whatever it is! :lol:

Kilinich's 3d engine maybe. he uses lasers to scan a 2d scene and then projects all that on a screen with some X pixels that can change height

Very good tip:
Open script menu and set maxRays to 1
Works 1000% better

jakub i would do that but i like the reflections, which give it a ray-tracing sort of feel. i could just bring down reflectiveness to 0 or refindex to 1.
