It works because the wheel in the middle (hidden by the white circle) is spinning at 2400 rpm and has unlimited power, so that's what drives the vehicle.

As for the tilting, Force equals Mass x Acceleration, and as it hits top speed it is no longer accelerating. Therefore, no sideways force, and no tilting:)
