i made it so that it is possible to create with thyme
the only hinge use is a center hinge, and thats possible with thyme...
use this: bladibladibla ; circle := addcenterhinge({motor = true}) ; bladibladibla
then you can create this thing...

i don't really get it dude, what are you demonstrating... also i don't think there is a way to add hinges using thyme
there IS a way to add hinges in thyme, but u need to collide with the object where the hinge has to be placed
if it is in a button as an action, its possible in thyme
create it, or make it self-spawning? i predict trouble keeping the clones away.
anyways, you can make a loop of it using a scene.my variable with itself in it
I CAN:)
select it pres ctrl-c
then select an object
go to on colide
pres ctrl-v
done
