The negative Trions (16 red-green-red particles) do not have enough initial potential energy alone to change state or form other molecules.
All having a positive net charge, they repel each other and thus need high energy to form bonds or emit positive hadrons (red squares).
The positive Trion is attracted to the negative trions, and thus, can cause particles to break up and new particles to form.
