Crude simulation of a Banks orbital or O'Neill cylinder being filled with fluid while spinning. Initially the fluid is not rotating, but as long as the particle are in motion, their paths will intersect with the surface of the ring, and all particles will eventually, through frictional collisions, be accelerated into solid-body rotation with the ring.
