The wheel with the largest diameter is supported on a horizontal surface on which it can roll. The smaller wheel, having the same center as and attached to the larger wheel, will travel the same distance as the big wheel. So the distance the Ferris wheel travels is its circumference, while the smaller wheel will travel a distance greater than its own circumference, where does the problem come from?
