a somewhat long time ago, I had the idea of adding 2 cutter lasers intersecting, but it doesn't reach the end of the object to make the lasers cut a chunk like if you cut a triangle with the cut tool, when I tried it it doesn't work, can I make it work? if it doesn't work, is there an alternative without a super complex script?Right now I doubt there is so if there isn't just tell me please.

just go to laser pen settings and change fade distance to a big number like uhhhh 100

I said cut a chunk, not cut it in half.

A laser can only cut completely through an object. It cannot cut part way like you are trying to do.

Hmm, I just got an idea! What if the laser reflects off a plane such that the reflection point is inside the object you want to cut?

Nice idea but it won't work because laser cutters do not reflect off of objects like regular lasers do. Try it!

hmm, it doesn't work. maybe it's because the laser is made up of a whole bunch of rectangles.
