There is something called date added you know? It's right under the Filesize, which is right under the Author of the scene.

JP - Date Added is the date that a particular scene was uploaded to Algobox. That scene could have been copied and uploaded multiple times in the past, and Date Added will always be the date that a future person uploads his/her own copy of the scene. So, really, it is no indication as to when it was originally uploaded by the original author.

i know this is old, but "If they do not respond within a couple of days, then you can take a chance by using the items without permission" does that also apply to banned users?

Well, that depends. If the ban is temporary, then they would still have their right to say whether another user can upload items or entire scenes that they created. If the ban is forever, then they have lost their rights to anything that they have published in the past. Keep in mind, that according to the Algodoo Terms of Service all users agree (by registering their user account) that everything they publish becomes the property of Algoryx (the company that owns this website). The company allows users to say whether or not other users can upload their creations, but that's where it ends. It's only a courtesy given to users by the company. Their scenes still belong to Algoryx, and the company can do whatever they want with them.

I want to make a scene that uses the basic hulls of objects from a user that quit, can I never use them?

ezpz(fib)5 -- As I've said many times before, it's very difficult for me to determine who stole what from whom here on Algobox because there is so much of that happening. For example, if someone reports one of your scenes because you stole their blue marble, I have no way to determine whether or not the person reporting stole that blue marble from someone else! I won't waste my time by spending hours trying to find out who originally made that blue marble!

So, in other words.... GO FOR IT!

Xray. I have been banned and i can still do things like not baned people but some of my scenes don't work on Algobox. Why is that?

bilalniazi31 -- You were banned twice. Once for posting a personal message in a scene, and then again for posting a "Results" scene. Each time was for 10 days. After the 10 day bans your account was no longer banned. That's why you can do things now.

rjoseph -- I did not receive any reports about your scene. Also, none of your scenes were deleted, so I don't know what you are talking about.

Yes, I remember that scene. No one reported it. I saw it and deleted it because you violated the rules by posting a personal message in a scene. Don't you remember it? I banned you for 10 days because of it.

Now please stop posting so many comments to me and to many other people! Algobox is for sharing scenes made with Algodoo. It is not a chat room for people to chat with each other about mindless nonsense. Almost every day you are sending me comments in many of my scenes and I'm getting tired of it.
