Atoms have different models, for different purposes.
Ball I/II/III- It helps to get the fact that
1- Most of the atom's mass is in a point
2-It contains electrons
3-It's shaped roghly like a sphere
Kaboom?/Electron go weeee- This was prposed by a guy named Rutherford, he was trying to make the model simple, yet usefull, so he made that model, but the electron would spiral into the nucleus, emiting light in the prosses, so another guy made the electron ONLY able to go in those orbits.
Where electron?- It has not an orbit, but an orbital, its just like a probability cloud for whee you might find the electron.
