How much toilet paper do you need to reach the moon? Assuming that each roll contains 1000 sheets, it would take 2.1 Million rolls to reach the moon. After we put all of that TP, what would happen to it? It would more likely snap, after all, about 400 US tons of toilet paper have to go somewhere! So it would snap on what is known as the L1 lagrange point, there is where the Earth's dominance ends, and the Moon's dominance starts. So the lagrange point is about 9/10 of the way to the moon. After all of it falls, there would be a MASSIVE pile on the moon made out of toilet paper. And sinse the moon was declared unownable since 1967, your pile of TP will remain on the moon for the forseeable future.

Reply: I respectfully disagree. I think the most difficult (or more likely impossible) problem would be trying to unroll the paper from 2.1 million rolls. I don't see how even the FIRST roll would be unwound without immediately snapping off due to friction, and due to the fact that TP is extremely flimsy. Assuming that a rocket would need to accelerate to at least 17,500 MPH to escape Earth's gravity, it would be impossible to pull the paper off a roll and then attach the loose end to the next roll (and do that over and over again until the final roll has been unwound).

TOTALLY IMPOSSIBLE! (But fun to think about! LOL)
