Same as the other Speed Wordle but this one uses the last solution word as the next starter word.

The possible word text box uses fixed width font for word location. "DejaVu Sans Mono" font is used but the following fonts may also work:

"Courier New"
"Liberation Mono"
"Lucida Console"
"Noto Mono"

Rev A: Improved word selection accuracy.
Rev B: Now suggests best word(s).
Rev C: Added optional ability to get definitions using Python.
Rev D: Glued chart elements to background.

Note: Getting definitions slows the game down slightly.

When the "possible words" text box has a lot of words in it (especially after clicking Reset) the word click accuracy is poor. It almost always selects a different word than the one I selected.


Also, if I Reset the game before it is solved, it shows all blanks and the game gets stuck in that condition.

Q: The word click accuracy is poor.
A: It works 100% on my PC but that doesn't mean it will work on all PCs. Make sure the font is "DejaVu Sans Mono". Zoom into the word before clicking on it. Don't change the text size. The tip of the pointer is the mouse position, not the finger tip of the hand tool. If all else fails then just type in the word and press enter.

A: When that happens, just type in any word and press enter.

Reply: I figured out what's going on. The issue is the fact that I have my Windows display setting at 120% instead of the default 100% (I did that for my less-than-perfect eyesight). That threw the click accuracy off for smaller words. When I switched my display settings to 100% the click accuracy was spot on!
