Did you know that Chess is normally played on an 8X8 board?

1. Yes, I do know that.
2. No offense or anything like that, but do you *understand* why I named the game "mini chess"?

I just realized I forgot to swap the knight, king, & queen for 6 by 6 white & black pieces XD

Sorry, I never heard of mini chess before. So, now it makes sense!

it's ok! Plus, u can play mini chess outside of algodoo! just get a chess board and use something like paper to cover the spots u dont need, I used checker pieces to make the boundries on my chess board IRL, but u have to do this everytime if u wanna play mini chess outside of algodoo 'cuz there is no mini chess board IRL I just made mini chess up

in chess.com theres a variant called mini chess on a 6x6 board with one of each piece (including pawn) except the queen

By the way, here's an interesting fact that many new and inexperienced chess players do not know. The standard 8X8 chessboard must be positioned for play so that the bottom-right square for each player is white. If the board happens to be rotated 90 degrees, then it places a black square in that position. There is also a rule that states the Queen must be initially placed on her same color square which, if the board is rotated correctly, will put her to the left of the King for the White player's initial starting position. I don't know if the starting position for a 6X6 board is important.

just so u guys know, the brown knight, king, and queen on the 6 by 6 wooden variant are not in their correct positions. the positions of them as of now is knight, king, queen, but it should be king, queen, knight. If u ever decide to use this board variant, then make sure to reposition these pieces. I will fix this problem some day, (Probrably tomorrow or the day after that)
