I have a couple of suggestions:
1. Disable the Algodoo clouds because they ruin the effect when the sky becomes nighttime.
2. For people who are in a hurry to see the changes, they can increase the Simulation Speed. It's that slider that shows just above the Run/Pause button.

I thought of one more thing you can do if you want to add more realism to the scene: Find an outdoor scene on Google Images and use it as a backdrop. Maybe a grassy field with an old farmhouse in the distance. Use your imagination!
