 | Yo, it has been a while hasn't it?Well do I have news for y'all, I am joining the Air Force so that means that I probably won't be able to post very much on Algodoo anymore. I apologize for the lack of scenes over the last like 2 or so years which sucks cause I made quite a few WIP guns that were very cool, but I had issues with them jamming so I never uploaded them (I might do that after uploading this one, cause it would suck for them to collect dust.)

Anyways, this one is a Springfield Model 1861 rifled musket that was commonly used in the American Civil War on the Union side (though picked up by Confederates when available). Very awesome gun and I love it. This one is special to me cause I really like the Civil War but also because I had to learn some Thyme scripting in order to make this. I didn't make the gunpowder code but I made the primer code. Not sure who made the gunpower, as it was from a seperate musket scene somewhere; but to whoever made it, thank you so much.

Here are some of the controls for this gun:
 ------------------------------------------------------
 * LEFT/RIGHT ARROW - Spin ramrod clockwise/counter-clockwise (You gotta hold it by the white circle).
 * UP/DOWN ARROW - Turn musket up/down (Used for loading process).
 * ENTER - Pull trigger.

Loading can be very tricky to learn if you don't know about muskets very much. I'll try to explain it here:
 ------------------------------------------------------
OPTIONAL: Press and hold up arrow to point gun fully up to make loading easier.
 1. Grab paper cartridge, and insert bottom end (not the rounded end...) into the barrel.
 2. When half-inserted, click the red box. This will open the cartridge.
 3. Push rest of cartridge into barrel.
 4. Pull the ramrod out from the end of the gun (It's the rod below the barrel, grab by the white circle.)
 5. Turn ramrod so that fat end is toward the barrel and insert into the barrel.
 6. Push ramrod down into the barrel so that round is seated all the way down.
 7. Pull ramrod out and return it into its original position.
OPTIONAL: Press and hold down arrow to point gun forward.
 8. Put hammer into half-cock position (Only pull it halfway) and if there's a spent cap on the cone, remove it.
 9. Grab new cap and place it onto the cone (The grey nub thing by the hammer.)
 10. Pull hammer all the way back and fire!

Anyways, like I said this will probably be my last Algodoo scene at least for a long time. If this ends up being the last then thank y'all for everything. This software has such a nice community and I appreciate the creativity and positivity that this platform provides. I hope to see yall on Simulo whenever that comes out.

 Thanks for everything,
 Damekn
