If anyone would like to have the puzzle automatically solve itself:

Select all of the pieces, then set the local variable _lockHome = true. When you run the sim, every piece will fly to its correct location.

Two questions:

- Why aren't the pieces shaped like actual puzzle pieces?

- Why did you choose the Angry Birds of all things Is it getting a resurgence of popularity or something?

1. Because I wanted to make them that way. Actually, I had a good reason for making the puzzle pieces all the same shape. If they were different, like in a typical jig saw puzzle, people would try to match shapes to the cutouts. I wanted the shape to be the same for all pieces so that players would need to match the graphic images on each piece to the images on the puzzle. They also need to correctly rotate the pieces for the images to match up. I thought it might be a little more challenging to do it that way.

2. Angry Birds seems to be popular so I searched Google Images for Angry Birds scenes. The one that I chose just seemed like a good one for a jig-saw puzzle.

As an Angry Birds fan, I think this puzzle is fantaaaaaaaastic!

The only bug I have spotted is that sometimes when a puzzle piece is placed in the wrong place, It flings about at high speed and goes all over the place!

But other than that, Well done Xray!

Well I hate to burst your bubble but Angry Birds has been consistently popular since the app (Algodoo) was originally published in 2011! If you do a search using the "search" tab, and search on the words "angry birds" (include the quotes) it returns a list of 247 scenes since the year 2011! Popularity may have slightly increased since you registered just a couple of months ago, but you are not the main reason why it has been so popular over the years.

Terribly sorry for the incorrect assumption! I feel quite guilty now I didn't mean any harm towards you and everyone else.

No problem. I'm glad that you seem to be so thrilled and excited with Algodoo and Algobox! I wish more users had that attitude.

oh yea i did notice the project that is usually always the first which is the rules isnt in the front anymore? just curious but a rlly great project u got here

The quick overview of rules page is no longer in the number one spot because the owners of this website (Algoryx) are planning on making some changes to it. Don't ask me what those changes will be because I don't know what they will be. Hopefully we will soon find out.
