This is a fairly modular PID loop that I have made for use in algodoo projects! For those who don't know, PID's are controllers that can control properties of physical objects (such as the angle of this arm) by changing an output (In this case, driving the thruster force). They are very powerful for things like robots and drones.
This is a simple demo showing an arm that compensates for a mass placed on it, up to 2 KG.
If you'd like to learn how PID's work and how you can implement them in your projects, there are plenty of great resources online on the subject. Most would translate to algodoo quite easily! |
