war end sooner.

The only way for the Germans to win this war was to break through
the stalemate between the 2 powers, so on the March of Spring they gathered their best Stoßtruppens and headed to the top. Deadline is in April, US arrival, they knew that the US would absolutely crush them and end the war
so they have to do this NOW.
