The bars used to change the aspect ratio of my retro TCF scenes. These are easily adjustable!


Instructions:

1. Since it works using a texture, the sidebars are on Layer 0, while the other objects are on Layer 1.
Note that the bars must ALWAYS be on another layer, preferably a layer you won't touch, so that you can interact with your scene.

2. The bars can be adjusted. Go into the bars' script menu and look at update. The value of the X and Y values creates the aspect ratio
(ex. x = 2.0 and y = 1.5 creates the default 4:3 aspect ratio.) The quadruple digit number changes the size of the aspect ratio.
Make it a bigger or smaller number until you are satisfied with the way the screen is cropped.


Note: If you aren't careful you can get stuck unable to do anything with this.

To escape, copy the box used for the bars, and delete it. Then go to the layers menu by clicking the background.
Open it, then move it so it stays open without the sky selected. Then paste the bars back into the highest layer
(make sure nothing else is on it!) and switch to a lower layer using your disconnected layer menu. Now you're done!
