there's a better way to do this without lasers

replace the density field in the blocks with
{
(math.mod(angle/math.pi + (1.5), 2)) > 1 ? 135 : 90
}
and the engine automatically computes the value of this, which is dependent on whichever number is visible by depending on the angle
