VBG Verkehrsbetriebe Glattal AG operates public transport in the Glattal and Furttal regions, as well as in the Effretikon/Volketswil area, on behalf of the Zurich Transport Network (ZVV) as a so-called market-responsible company (MVU). As a pure MVU, VBG has been solely responsible for the planning and implementation of the transport services since 1993; all transport services are provided by transport contractors who supply drivers and vehicles.
