Showing two different resistors in a circuit.
Resistance is indicated by radii of the white atoms embedded in the grid.

1. Start the simulation.
2. Slowly (!) guide one or more of the brown boxes (resistors) into the stream of electrons.
3. You can the voltage drop across a resistor as follows:
a) Stop the simulation when it settles for an seemingly constant flow.
b) Select the rectangle Tool and mark all electrons within a certain width (f.e. 10m) in front and behind a given resistor in the circuit. Note the number of marked electrons in the selected area of the wire.
--> Voltage drop = Number of electrons after resistor - Number of electrons before resistor.
--> via this method you can examine:
... Voltage drop accross the same or different resistors in series
... the ratio of the resistance of the resistors (Using R = U / I ; while I_1 = I_2 for resistors in series)
