The shredder (gears with 2 rectangles) shreds spongified items, if it's not spongified, then the shred may not work/can't shred the non-spongified item and you can also make a polygon or whatever to put in the shredder (not the paper shredder) and double tap it, press spongify and shred! You can also adjust the axle strength to an amount where the spongified item actually breaks. Also, if you want, you can double tap, press collision layers and press no-self collision meaning they can't collide with each other if 2 items have no-self collision enabled. To know, double tap the two items, collision layers, look to see if they have no-self collision having a checkmark, if not, they collide with each other. The paper shredder shreds paper/items like polygons, circles, squares, etc and images. To get the shredded bits out, flip the paper shredder upside-down and you'll see your item's shredded pieces. To remove it, use Algodoo's select tool and circle the pieces. Then, double tap it and press delete. I hope you enjoy! Let me know in the comments if you want me to add anything (or something if any mistakes and/or etc/something) The rectangles by the shredder (not paper shredder) are for if you shred something, if the item (like non-spongified polygon/items/circle/square/etc or a spongified item but collides with each other if adjusted axles weaker if could explode) so what I was saying is that if that goes kind of not really flying but on the rectangles, you can "re-shred/reshred it. By the way, you might be wondering how I typed this much, I don't know how I did or in slang, idk, you might have learned quite a bit or some few tips, visit algodoo to learn how to use this if you don't know, if you need help with something from this scene or anything from this scene, please comment below if you want to! Have phun/fun! lol/Lol (I use /'s / "/"for a replacement for the word "or") Bye! Have fun (and if you can read all of this) |
