In April 16 1987 The Barrzau Tunnel would have its worst tragedy ever
when an 8 car commute express train going 115 KPH smashed into the debris of the collapsing tunnel
then getting crushed from the other wagons resulting in a chain reaction of wagons being crushed into a million pieces.
The investigation had revealed that nothing was wrong about the train
but the maintenance company was cutting costs by using weaker materials for repairing the tunnel
causing this disaster
