Very Fast 8 Cylinder Collision Engine sheepborg 7.5 (9 votes) 1050 15 2010/04/25 02:54:32
show grid
still doesnt seem right, besides in phun i hardly moves
in fact, it slows down in phun due to imbalance

notice 100 rounds per second is 6000 rounds per minute. running at 100hz this means that it is simulated by not moving. there is simply no way that it could run that fast

lies :o
Doesn't work in Agodoo v1.7.1 either. Let us know when you fix it.
yep someting is broke
@sheepborg
100rad/sec = 100 radians per second
not 100 rotations per second
amount of rad in one rotation: 360/57.5 (or 2*pi)

@ all other guys
it needs to be started at a speed above 40rad/sec
oh, and yes, it is broken, because it only reaches 75rad/sec now...

100 ad/sec
16.6 rps
about 1000 rpm
according to the described speed

and btw, why would you be using radians?
100rad/sec = 5750rpm
just to show you...
1 radian per second
≈ 57.29578 degrees per second
≈ 9.5493 revolutions per minute

therefore:

100 rad/s
≈ 954.93 revolutions per minute

so according to the speed in the description, it runs at about 1000rpm

or

it only runs at 75 rad/s = 715rpm
but you have to start it at 380rpm

all together it sounds sketchy and the motor works for nobody but you

I've just calculated it on a diffrent way, and the way i've been using for some time is wrong, but works for some stuff, like position calculating etc...

But still, it worked for me (dunno how about now, with a new algodoo installation)
in algodoo v2.0.2 b15 with some tweaks it can reach ~150 rad/s!
