Using this tech it's possible to build any flying and mouse following objects.

It moves because of scripted materialVelocity - it's very simple and fast.
Speed is in scene.my.spdX and spdY

In this scene it follow mouse at speed proportional to distance and "warp" (scene.my.warp default value is 30).

you need algodoo 1.8.5 for this?
because in algodoo 1.8.0 it just explodes/dissapears
Brilliant! And if you reduce the sensitivity, you can use it for flying machines, right?
2Bronie12345 it must work in 1.8.0 and even ealier version. Try to reset config or reduce warp.

2Dare: no need to reduce sensitivity - just change formula of speed to what you need. And I will use it for flying things for sure! :y
I haven't seen this before. Never knew what this was. Now I'm experimenting myself:D 10/10:tup:
Great work, but if you zoom out a bit and move the cursor from side to side quickly the whole thing just breaks. Nice work anyway, as usual.
2Rrobba: sure it will brake, so you must use in in right scale or make circles bigger.
Sweet! I was wondering how you achieved such great response without any overshoot. I thought you where using some extremely well tuned PID equations. But no, only the P (proportionnal) part of it is involved. I then realised that you don't need the extra I and D because you control velocity and not acceleration as opposed to mostly every physical application. I learned something cool from this, althought i was a bit disapointed, lol.
