Hello people,


This is a new version of conway's game of life.

I made it about 4 times faster by halving the number of lasers and halving the number of laser hits per cycle.


If you don't know Conway's "game of life" check out this page:

Choose "Glider" from the drop down list there and press "next" several times.


It is now really difficult to make new game of life scenes, so I don't recommend to do so. However, if you like to make your own scene, proceed as follows:
1) Make sure algodoo is paused all the time while you create the scene.
2) Turn the grid on and change the background color to grey.
3) Copy one living cell and one dead cell and delete the rest of the cells .
4) Delete the yellow lasers in the middle of the living and the dead cell. They are hard to see, because the bodies are invisible.
5) Build a new scene with the two cells.
6) Put new lasers with color = [0.1,0.1,0,0] and maxRays = 1 in the middle of each cell.
Important: The yellow lasers need to be created after everything else in the scene is created. Otherwise the program won't work!
7) Now you can start the scene.
