To speed cube was constant, the product of restitution of colliding objects must be equal to 1.
I have a prototype of a gel, but separately at the scene will not fill. 9/10

Agree with uCriterion, by setting restution with value higher than 1, you will give speed "of the nothing" to an object.
But so far nice idea, I might try my own version of the gel. 9/10
