I had an algobreak for some time, and I was working on this since November, but here it is finally! It's not very fast, but it has plenty of strenght and uses some of Kilinich's Niva engine tech combined with the gun concept from Gent. It has 10 cylinders. Also it has "realistic" (some) engine starting and it can stall!
It has some sort of RTAWD from Audi (Quattro). It's not very visual except that when you accelerate and the back wheel loses traction, you'll see how the front one gets torque and spins.
The dashboard is the ORIGINAL from the R8 Spyder V10 with some tweaks and fake parts like the oil/water temp, fuel, battery (it loses power when you start the engine, so it looks good :lol: ) and the little screen in the center (I was making a little step-by-step tutorial there on how to drive the car from zero. I think it's not neccesary, but if you want I can put it again).
Again, not a supercar but it has lots of details that costed me time and you MAY like

CONTROLS:

W - S: accelerate - brake
X: starter (Wait 'till the engine gets to 100 RPM or so)
C: stop engine
D: clutch (A bit useless from my point of view :bonk: )


P.S: I know it's full of errors in the console but it works hehe. Can someone make a tutorial of EntityByGeomID please?

It not starting. One question, how to spawn only one ball with a leaser spawn?? I always get hundreds but i need only one. Nice job with Audi. Next time make Audi A4 2009 with spawn engine. Deal? how i can not give a 10.:) You are amazing on scripting
Seams to be broken in 2.1.0!
Deal!:lol: I always use a circle to spawn only 1 circle because lasers fail to spawn lots of times. It's a bit hard, but you should make the laser change collision layer after it spawns the circle, and then change it of collision layer again.
Also did you keep pressed X until it started?

P.S sorry, I've been trying to make something like this, but the laser doesn't change collision layer. Try to make it with circles

I've tested it in 2.1b8 and it works OK. What version do you have?
2.10, Ehh im gonna think something more simple...
Try to dissect some of my engines, like the ecoengine
2.1.0, running in wine however I doubt that has anything to do with it. The engine doesn't seam to stay running, if I hold X till it gets too 10-11 (highest it will go from the starter), pressing the accel is the only way to keep it running slowly, clutch held down and clutch not held down, doesn't seam to make much of a difference.
Use you're engine? Nah man, you know me. I love always to create something that is mine. What i have made so far is running fuel engine with goes about 110 Rad/s but the problem it that when it starts to moving like 10m/s not every cylinder work good. Like 3 spawns a ball last one din't. Maybe try a different type of engine.... Don't know jet. Hey and can you make a realistic car weight on audi.:) And i always wanted to ask you where are you from? And how old are you?

Best thing was the brakes. The rest don't work for me. Nothing happenes to the RPM-meter when i hold X, all that happenes is that the cylinders move up and down...
It's OK, I've found the problem. Somehow it stopped working, it has to be some thyme change. I'm recoding it, it seems simple but tedious ¬¬
vaidas: I saidthat you could dissect it, I mean just look at the code. BTW I'm 15 from Argentina:D you?
P.S What type of engine I use for the a4? Automatic or manual gearbox?
vaidas: I had the same problem with spawn engines. You have to put in pos:=e.other.pos and the balls will spawn OK. Or try making fuel balls, and then changing it's size, color and collideSet other than deleting them and spawning another, then it's speed wouldn't change

hehe it's ok if it's realistic size and the wheel gets to 140 rad/s? And the engine is V6 spawn? (It has 5 gears)
V6? Yea you have to got good performance some how... Really, i think that you have to make a V8 because it will be better with real car weight. About 1700 KG i think. And i think that you have to high up the Hz, to 300. Because real speed of this car is about 270 KM/H. Can you do that? And... yeah good luck.:) I will wait for it.

OK, but real A4's have a V6 for the best model, so maybe I'm leaving it like that. I'll see when I add the extra 900 kg
Ive done the mechanical part, although Ill tune it later. Max speed is 75 m/s=240 km/h (in fact the wheels have to get 157.08 rad/s to make the car go at 240 km/h) It weights 1700 kg and goes at THAT speed in 100 simple Hz :bonk:
I mean 75 m/s=270 km/h
High up Hz, to 150. It will be no problem with that. How you make automatic gear box, can you make a tutorial?

On 150 hz I get 110 m/s= 400 km/h (from waiting 2 minutes)

I told you that all ready, take you're time. Its better when is good, not when its fast and full of bugs. And check out mane new scene, that Harley. I have some problems with engine. When accelerated fly wheel spins like 120 rad/s it starts to stop him self. It's a V4 engine. I think a problem is spawned. Take a look and tell my what you think. Scene calls a Harley Davidson 700cc.
It doesn't stop for me, but it flies xD. try to put a thruster that activates when you accelerate that kills the thrust of the engine.
You've got a pretty good plane engine!:lol: Mine does the same
one of the cylinders spawner was placed incorrectly, I put to much weight on balls, to that make engine fly:D Now i can create a rocked with a same engine.:D I fixed but now i realized that spawned ball have same layer. So when ball is still in cylinder laser spawn more balls with that ball.... So yeah i have to remade engine. It must be 40 degrees between cylinder. And I have to change spawner mechanisms, as it is inaccurate. I will see what i can do about it... What do you think?
Hm I got an idea... you CAN fix that engine if you put the spawn script in the cylinder (in onHitByLaser). Then you'll spawn one ball, and that ball will stop the laser from spawning other! So for each stroke you'd get only 1 ball
Audi will be done for tomorrow, it's full of stupid details :lol:
