Wow, this really is a PID control system! :tup:

Just curious, why do you change the size of the thrusters according to the log of the thruster force? What exactly does that do other than provide a visual indicator that something has changed?

you're right, it does nothing except providing a visual feedback. (I wish the thruster trail length could be ajusted instead)
