This concept allows an open bolt weapon to fire both semi and auto using a diconnector catch in the trigger mechanism. You can utilize this in your creations if you want, but a little note that I "discovered" this little technique would be polite.

hold enter or drag trigger to fire. Selector is the bar with pointer over the "1" and "A". Slide it forward or backwards to toggle firing modes.
