Two chains fall to the ground and then they freeze into random patterns. I discovered this accidentally while experimenting with s_noonan's script in: Glue To Background]

So, credit goes to him for the script.

Instructions are in the scene. Experiment with the height of the plane and/or any other variables to see if you can create more interesting structures. Maybe add more chains?

Also, you can speed up the scene to X10 if you want to make structures must faster.

Pretty neat. most of the time it ends up looking like a lady in a hat and skirt blowing in the wind while bending over to pick something up.
That's the same lady that I get a lot!
I thought I was crazy there for a second.
Don't worry, it was a lot longer than a second.
I recently discovered that by changing the plane's "attraction" value, I can make some interesting patterns. You can make the value positive or negative for different effects. Try it!
nice:tup:
change the angle of the plane lol:lol:
Great idea, dustville!
Seems like scene lost some textures. Result is just a bunch of squares. Is it intended?
kilinich - No that was not intended, but I like the fact that it happens. I think it looks cool!
I did not include every property of each object created with the glue2bckgnd function. It should not be too difficult for you to add more properties if desired.
tell me how you made it.
yellowmarkers - As stated above, I started with s_noonan's scene, and modified it so that it does what it does. If you do not understand Thyme scripting, then you would not understand any further explanation. Nearly the entire scene was programmed using Thyme Script.
yeah. i only really know 1 script. e.other.liquify. i want to learn more scripts.
but, xray, i want to know anyway.
Okay, great! Log-in to the Algodoo forum, and start reading the posts that explain Thyme scripting. You can also learn a lot by looking through other people's scenes to see how they did certain things. That is how everyone learns. You have to make the effort to learn it on your own because on one is going to hold your hand and spend many hours to teach you everything. If you make the effort to learn scripting, then you will eventually be able to make some awesome scenes!

Good luck!
ok! this will be difficult!
