A chain sword similar to Gipsy Danger's sword in the movie Pacific Rim. Since it's based on the sword in the movie, there's no hilt.
Toggle activation with the 'A' key.
Aproximately 6 meters in length.
It's not scaled up to a Jaeger's size, but I felt it would be a hassle to use if it was 50+ meters long.
If you have any suggestions, please tell me.
Rev 1: Changed Sim.Frequency from 480Hz to 60Hz. It still locks up absolutely solid, but the lag is considerably decreased. The only downside I've found is that it hops around a little if you lay it on the ground.
Really the only reason it was at 480Hz was to make absolutely certain it locked up tight, but I found it works fine even at 30Hz. Who'da thunk? |
