A working real-life based oil well. Note that only the oil well is based on real-life, other things aren't. It isn't quite accurate, but I will fix in future.

Note - requires a beefy computer to run smoothly. On mine I have lag, so I slowed the pumping speed.
Special thanks to luxx for inspiring me to do this.

Update 1.1 - It now pumps the entire pipe, due to the discovery when you run on 100 Hz. Basically this scene runs on 100 Hz now.

1 - If you watch a oil well in action it will stop on a point, similar to mine's well.
2 - I don't understand the question.

my 1st oil well issues:

-crank and counterweight are way too small;
-i drawed horsehead with hand and it looks bad;
-it doesn't have a downstroke;
-ant trillion other things that i forgot to list.

you can check it out: the scene's name is ''pumpjack''
and it looks even worse than yours, Luka.
