You know those dark blue triangles on the blue circle? If you look, you can see multiple 'clones' of themselves.

That's really not an optical illusion. It's just an "effect" that occurs when you view a spinning object on a TV screen, computer screen, or movie theater screen. It's called the Wagon-wheel effect
