I had more-or-less given up futzing around with Theo Jansen mechanisms in my quest to make an offroad walker, and tried a new approach with complicated piston arrangements. It`s certainly no offroader, especially the way it`s calibrated, but this idea shows some promise. It`s surprisingly robust, easy to tweak, and another pair of legs could give it some decent speed.
