Interesting engine. For every piston there is another piston 180 degrees out of phase with it, but there is still quite a bit of vibration. I wonder if the vibration can be minimized by re-ordering the pistons. Good work at any rate. :tup:
It vibrates because you have chosen wrong ignition discipline.
Because you have 8 pistons, discipline should be like:1,3,5,7,8,6,4,2
Try that out.
I built something like this the other day but with 30 pistons lol. I might upload it just for fun.
This was just an experiment, i never expected it to have any practical usage anyway. :lol:

But I'll try the firing order thing that vaidas said.
Xray is bored.
Indeed.
Well, not any more because I had some fun playing around with your scene! :)

I noticed that the tach readout was not quite accurate, and it wasn't linear across the entire range. So, I did some tweaking and arrived at the following change in the tach axle code: bendTarget = {scene.my.rpm / 25.8 - 2.44}

Try it, and see if you get the same results that I got (i.e., more accurate and more linear).
