@Antonny - Thank you! The feedback is highly appreciated.
@Ruby The Roobster - How detailed will the map be? The more detail, the more likely the chances of algodoo crashing.
Oh hello! Nice to see more "territory wars" algobox people!
Just asking, do you know me? I mean your first map was mainland South East Asia, and so was mine (it has become a tradition that whenever I try out a new set of code with these types of scenes, I do South East Asia.)
Now here are some ideas for you.
- Algodoo has 10 collision layers, maybe try a setup with more factions. I personally used a set of code that appears very similar to yours for my "Sengoku Jidai" scenes, and those use 10 factions (the maximum, as there are 10 collision layers in algobox)
- Instead of having all 4 "victory points" clustered around the capital, maybe have one at the capital, and the rest around major cities (so ie. USA's victory points would be at Washington DC, New York City, Los Angeles, and Chicago)
- That region between Mexico and South America are called "Central America", not "North America". North America also includes Mexico, USA, Canada, and the Caribbean (which I think you excluded intentionally due to it's archepelago nature.
