another 9/10 you know you wanted to go to the 10/10 button
besides under ground your shadings arent good because they lack life. If you plan to beat me it will take a change of style from you.
sorry if that is vague but i cant make it too easy for you
I accept your challenge
@ lethal - actually there are some nice details i forgot about like the engine under there (sorry i missed that at first)
but the body panels are what are lacking detail
no not phunable, but it is easy to understand, and it is increadibly easy to see what was learned from the new tutorial. as i figured the motions would be similar to the tutorial in many of the things built after the release of the tutorial.
Moving on, it is fairly good mechanically from what i can see but it appears that the trigger key moves more than one thing. is that correct?
over all i give it an 7.7/10 because of similarities in movement and for a slight lack of compactness (i wont rate it if there will be any updates)
please look at my sequence gun that was built by what was shown on the OLD tutorial from paradigm
wait wait wait
"7/10 for insane job"
uh kilinich, did you miss the 9 key?
I feel that textures are low quality unless the creation does something
a bike cant do much, and since the feature is the detail, i guess that the scene is how it should be. Seriously there isnt even a track
(dang i went overboard on detail)
prepare yourself though, my goal is so detailed it lags when paused (not really)
my actual goal is to make near photo-realism with little shapes, and to beat underground with mind-blowing bikes...
seriously if it is first person where is my body? (beautiful job though)
fortunatly and unfortunately i didnt have to crap myself on the detail, but the mechanics are awesome!!!
and besides, i ordered a blue intereor with black accents and yellow stitching!
mechanics 9.5/10 (pedals are bad and the steering wheel is a little wonky in relation to the movement of the car)
looks 8/10 (nothing amazing)
over all 8.765/10
* the steering wheel is in little to no relation to the amount of turning that occures
* the puny little things on the bottom of the center console look out of place
* seats?
* the pedals bend in half instead of going down
* the start engine button doesnt say "start engine"
* circle cakes are still there
* little to no shading
* this is a list
* why do i drive on top of the center console? (screen shot)
* the white lines are missaligned
* the sun is less than sunny (jk)
there critisism... oh, oh yeah, constructive...
more things to fix
sorry if the list was slightly harsh
Keep up the good work!
(disclaimer: none of the above words were meant in a mean way)
actually it isnt that good because of all the hinges it has lots of wiggling and vibrating. It is better to just use one arm that is only suspended by 1 or 2 springs. Or to use the sliding piston with one ore two springs. Both of these ways have no vibration so they are better for models ect.
i am making one that works on phun tht senses for texture and color, it is almost done
hmmmm... textures are problematic. oh well i guess they cant be transfered
complactness as stated it the problem, but also it has a little bit of overcomplexity to it. It really could have many peices of it exempt because the function would be able to move through less peices more easily.
if you havent already, check out my sequense gun that i made on the old tutorial by para that had little to no info in it
it isnt the complexity of the movements that is the problem, but some of the tranfers od the blocks moving out of the way could be more efficient by reducing peices in those tranfers
@ phunbox - Im a critic, i cant help it... now lets look at your scenes OMG nevermind you dont have any!
Btw: ftw why do some people put my name as sheepdog???
@ ant97man - why dont people ever do that to me, woth suggestions
