It should be obvious that you cannot create "real" 3D in a 2D physics simulation.
It only can be an illusion.
And now I have to take your illusions about 3D away:

a little tip:

try to set the air friction up to 10000 - or even higher. try it and you will see that it sinks much slower!

Hey try to create a solar system with gravity (attraction at material attributes)! But for your first scene it is really well done!
